Transformus would not happen without you. I know there are many many many volunteers who help in many many many ways, more than I can even know let alone recognize, but I know that people like Sunshine and Stan and Beyond and BMac and BubbaJohn and Debra and Gizmo and Wordplay all contributed an enormous amount long before any of us got to the mountain. And often when I spotted them in Mysteria, they were still working. And there were many more folks who I am forgetting to mention right now. (I apologize from the bottom of my heart about that. I'm writing this on the fly and I want to finish it before I procrastinate away the opportunity.) Mysteria would be but a beautiful dream without you all. Transformus may be magical but it still depends on the alchemy of the magicians who come together, lay the plan, gather the ingredients and cast the spells. I am grateful for each and every one of you. I know it's hard. I know it must often feel like it's probably more trouble than it's worth. People question your decisions, give you rations of shit, somtimes for the stupidest things .. I know it's gotta feel sometimes like, "Why do I bother?" I want you to know that I noticed. I see. I get it. And I'm grateful. Your gift to us was the best and brightest of the entire gathering -- because there would be no gathering without you.

This year ran smoother than any year I can remember. From the parking and gate crew to the fire safeties, effigy builders, art organizers, sanctuary servers, and LNT team, everyone did an excellent job. You all deserve a round of applause, a hug around the neck and a shot of the liquor of your choice...and then some!

On a personal level, I want to thank Sunshine and Beyond Joy and Stan for being so helpful to me as a themecamp coordinator. You were always helpful and smiling and that is no small feat.

I want to thank Bubba John for coordinating and distributing Ice! That is a huge service and has, year after year, proven one of the biggest challenges in organizing a theme camp. I also want to thank you for starting my car when it broke down (again!) This year I had car trial after car trial and I tell ya, I was at my wits end. When you showed up like a knight on a white horse and fixed what none of the 30 people who had tried before you could fix, you won my eternal gratitude. I could cry just thinking about it.

I want to thank BMac for dealing with what had to be a million invite questions. I don't know how you did it. I was pulling my hair out just dealing with the people from my own camp. I can not imagine taking on the task of dealing with every single person who had an invite question or issue. Thank you, thank you, thank you for taking that on.

I also want to thank Jace for setting up the Transformus website and I want to thank whoever took over for him when he left. I can only imagine what a headache that must have been. I don't know who you are but I celebrate you as an unsung hero directly responsible for a lot of our party.

Thank you Joe for organizing the conclave. The only thing harder than herding cats is herding hippies and burners. Next year you are so getting a megaphone. (Why is it that the people who actually need those things never have them!?!) And thank you Ben for the beautiful medallions you crafted for all of us in the conclave. I didn't take it off for days and it will always mean a lot to me. I treasure it.

I have a lot of people to thank inside my own camp too. Bubble Camp was better than ever and it would not have happened without Thunder most especially. He took on the greater part of the coordinator roles this time and Bubble Camp was better than it has ever been. He also purchased structures that made our camp so much better and more efficient. He also worked tirelessly throughout. I am so grateful for you Thunder!!! Thank you to Thunder and Junebug for coordinating that circus tent and Ron Royster for loaning it to us and to everyone who helped raise that monstrosity. Thank you Jill Boogie and AliCat for helping set up and helping break down all those huge structures. Thank you Schiebs for coordinating the Life Drawing Salon. And thank you to Dana and Dykkie and Cory for co-creating the Love Lounge and for participating in the Poetry Salon and for sharing in every way. You are all part of some of my most beautiful memories. Thank you Patika and AliCat for coordinating the Ripe-n-Juicy parade (and next year, Dykkie we are totally hooking you up with a cattle prod and letting you bring up the rear!) Thank you to all our cooks who crafted some of the most delicious food in Mysteria. Thank you Eli for bringing your trapeze and sharing it with the community and for sharing your raw food and raw food wisdom as well. Thank you to our virgins and even some of our visitors for jumping in and helping throughout the entire weekend. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I am grateful for you all.
